My art, regardless of the form it takes, is done as a reminder to love. It is very easy to become apathetic, or even hateful, in this wonderful world we live in. Time and exposure to our everyday environments can make the world appear dull and lacking life and interest, and divisive media can make the people around us seem malevolent and dangerous.

I use my art as a medium to purposefully and mindfully connect with this world, and the people and living things that inhabit it, through a lens of curiosity and empathy. Throughout this artistic and personal journey, I have found myself developing a deep sense of awe, gratitude and love for this diverse world, and for the beauty and interest this diversity inherently creates.

My art, therefore, is a celebration of the diverse and magnificent nature of this world, and the diverse and beautiful people and living things that we have the privilege of sharing it with. It is also my personal invitation to you to likewise connect with our world through a lens of curiosity and empathy, and as a reminder to treat this world, and all of the people and living things who inhabit it, with love, kindness and compassion.
